Founders, start with a system: why ISO thinking matters from day one
Many young Ugandans are building startups. Most think management systems are for big, old companies. That is backwards. The cheapest time to build good habits is at the start, when the company is small enough to change.
Three things ISO thinking gives a founder early
First, clear processes, so the business does not live only in the founder's head. Second, traceable decisions, so when an investor or a partner asks how you handle quality, data, or risk, you have an answer. Third, credibility, so a young company can sit across the table from a bank or a ministry and be taken seriously.
You do not need certification on day one. You need to understand what a management system is.
Half a day in the Awareness Training will save a founder years of expensive lessons, and show you which standard fits your sector.
